Pretty much using this page to keep track of my BMR (Basal Metabloic Rate or the amount of calories I need to simply survive). That way, I can easily make sure I am eating properly 🙂
7/6/2013: 2651 + 2343 / 2 = 2497
5/6/2019: 2,560 + 2562 / 2 = 2561
This is the BMR formula if anyone wants to figure it out
Men: BMR = 66 + ( 6.23 x weight in pounds ) + ( 12.7 x height in inches ) – ( 6.8 x age in year )
Women: BMR = 655 + ( 4.35 x weight in pounds ) + ( 4.7 x height in inches ) – ( 4.7 x age in years )
A good calculator (if you know your body fat %) is Fat2Fit It calculates for two different formulas, one based on body weight and the other based on lean body mass (hence knowing your BF%). I take both numbers, add them together and divide it by 2 to get an average.
is women suppose to be 65 or 655
They are supposed to be 655 🙂
