Okay, I am keeping this short and sweet. Saturday continued my downward spiral with food, it continued my downward spiral with my feet and just was not the best day all around when it came to this project. Monday, things are changing… and unfortunately one of those is my running. I think I just have to be done. I really hope my shoulder is healed enough to do circuit training because running just doesn’t cut it anymore.
Saturday morning I did get up and do some walk/jog alternating for nearly 6 miles. I actually had the 2nd fastest time per mile since August, but it still wasn’t good. The terrible thing was that it just destroyed my left foot. No matter how good it felt before, running just ruined it.
After that, I hobbled around the rest of the day, enjoyed a movie and dinner with my wife and finished off the day with a delicious Dairy Queen Blizzard – Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup obviously.
Here’s hoping I can adapt to these pains… I really want to finish out the latter part of this project strong, not be right back where I started or worse.
