So unfortunately the stress – as mentioned yesterday – doesn’t seem to be going away. I seriously think I need a day at a spa or a cruise or something… just get away from responsibility for a while. Not that we should run from responsibility. But sometimes it is nice to put it behind us for a bit so we can come back refreshed.
Wednesday was probably worse than Tuesday. A bunch of things went wrong, some were my fault, all were my responsibility, and it just made waking up Wednesday rough. I actually didn’t have much happen at work beyond fixing the issues, but it still was amazingly stressful. It cut into my walks, made me have to fix the problems rather than do some work I had planned, and just sort of ruined my day. And I turned to food.
I have probably eaten worse in the past 16 weeks than I did Wednesday, but it was still pretty bad. I will get back on track tomorrow and hope that this weekend can be relaxing.
Exercise was nice as I decided to just do the elliptical. The problem I said I wasn’t going to talk about (feet) is getting better and I wanted to keep going down that path, so 50 tough minutes on the elliptical it was. I also did some yard work when I got home and surpassed 20,000 steps for the day.
