Alright, so I really wasn’t. But I was out of town on business and just never got around to posting my daily posts. Yes, I can use every excuse from “I was busy” to “I don’t like to post on my phone and laptop because I have fat fingers” but I will just admit, I didn’t take the time to do it.
As I mentioned, I was out of town in California and I was hoping to use that time to rest my feet and hopefully be able to start exercising a bit more when I got back. Unfortunately, that didn’t go as planned. Over the 6 days that I was in California, I had over 105,000 steps. And that include being on the plane twice. I did a lot of walking around because there wasn’t much else to do when I wasn’t working. So my feet didn’t get much rest but there really isn’t much I can do about it short of just not walking for a month straight. I am just going to have to keep doing what I am doing and hoping the pain isn’t too much.
The good news is that I only gained about 3 pounds over the week. Yeah, not going in the right direction, but I also wasn’t fully invested in it while I was there. I didn’t eat unnecessarily and I spent a lot of time walking (even went to the gym once, but the shoulder did not cooperate) so I am not too surprised. It was a good week.
So I am going to go easy on the grade for week 13 and 14. I would say overall for week 13 it was a nice B+, and for week 14 it was a C+. I didn’t track my food, didn’t get my 10,000 steps every day (despite averaging a LOT) and and missed on a few goals, but I did exercise, I did pass on alcohol and I didn’t do too much damage with food.
