Today happened to be my second follow up for my shoulder surgery. I didn’t actually get to see the doctor (either he was busy or I just wasn’t important enough) but his PA instead, but it was all the same I suppose. I was told I can’t start lifting yet for probably another six weeks (seriously!?) and that it is expected to be sore but my movement looks good for the progress so everything appears to be going as planned.
Other than that, it was a pretty standard day. I had a training at work for a new program, walked around when I was supposed to (except my friends ditched me at lunch) and had a good day there. Then this evening I really only had time to eat, watch an episode with my wife and hop on the computer for game night.
My feet haven’t been bothering me as much as I thought they would but they are still a bit sore. I did get on the treadmill at an incline and tried jogging a few times but it was actually my ankle that was bugging me (go figure, ANOTHER ailment) so I just spent the time walking at a steep incline and adjusting the speed up and down a little bit. Hopefully this is a sign that my feet will be fine shortly and I can get back to the running that I enjoy so much.
