As if things couldn’t get any worse!  How old do you have to be to injure your back tying your shoe?  Or how clumsy?  Or how bad at tying shoes?  I have no idea what it was, but Wednesday morning when I bent over to tie my shoe, I felt a pain in the right side of my back and felt it all day long.  Even when I am trying to relax and repair myself, things just crop up left and right.

The good news is that my feet are feeling better.  I am afraid that as soon as I start running on them, they will start hurting again.  I am not going to give it a go until next Monday, but I really hope by then they are better so I don’t have to deal with this any longer.  I have been icing them, resting them, wearing compression socks, padding in my shoes, etc.  I just want to have a week that goes by where I feel like something isn’t injured!

Other than all the pain, Wednesday was a pretty hectic day.  I had a lot of stuff to do at work and got most of it accomplished, have to roll out code on Thursday which can be either super easy or the biggest pain on the planet (next to my back and feet, har har) and have still been keeping my calories in check despite not exercising and wanting to eat everything I can get my hands on.

I can’t wait to get back to normal (hopefully) next week.
