I must say, it is quite nice waking up during the week at a later time than normal. I am usually awake before 4:00 AM in order to get ready to get to the gym. But the last couple of days I’ve been able to sleep in. One day was a holiday in the states, and the other day I slept in because I didn’t go to the gym. And I thoroughly enjoyed it.
To be fair, I did not sleep very well Monday night. I have no idea why. Sometimes I think it is because I am sleeping for too long in one position. Other times I think I get too warm or too cold. Or maybe it is my sleep apnea that is the problem. Regardless, it wasn’t the most restful but it was still nice knowing I had an extra hour of sleep.
I still managed to get over 10,000 steps for the day just doing my normal thing. I didn’t worry about trying, and certainly didn’t worry about getting steps every hour, but I did focus on my food. I am back to the intermittent fasting and still enjoy it. I am just going to have to make it work despite the “take your pill with food” and “you lose muscle if you don’t eat” stuff. I have seen buff people do intermittent fasting, so it isn’t impossible, I just need to look into it more.
when i did intermittent fasting, the only thing that got me through morning workouts and mornings after workouts was a BCAA supplement. I don’t know exactly how, but it did seem to help…
Yeah, I have been using it for a while. I don’t think it makes much of a difference in my energy level, but I have read it helps prevent muscle loss.
It may have been psychological tbh…because it felt like more than just water…
