So there were a few good things that happened today.  First of all, my feet still feel so much better thanks to the little inserts I am wearing on my feet.  There is still a little pain in my heel, but it is almost nothing compared to before.  The second thing is that it was nice to enjoy eating before two or three in the afternoon.  I didn’t hate it, but eating right after exercising is important (according to a lot of research) to maintaining muscle.  The third thing is that – as you can see by the title – I dropped more weight.  And the fourth thing is that I was actually able to lift today.

I had thought that I was just going to do the elliptical for the week.  But when I woke up this morning with my feet feeling a lot better, I decided I was going to try to do leg day.

For the most part, it went fairly well.  I did a handful of leg exercises while avoiding things like calf presses and extensions because I didn’t want to stretch my foot out right now with the issues my feet have been having.  I also didn’t do crazy heavy weights since it’s been a few weeks since I last lifted.  But I enjoyed it, I felt the burn, and still feel it now.

When it comes to not-so-good-news, I received a call from my doctor and she says I likely have sleep apnea and should consult with the sleep clinic and will likely end up with a CPAP.  Definitely not what I wanted to hear, but I guess it is something I need to take care of.

Beyond all of that, we did a fantasy football draft for one of the leagues I am in (I love me some fantasy football), did a lot of work and enjoyed the day for the most part.
