Sunday was just about the perfect rest day. We went shopping as we normally do, but then the rest of the day was spent relaxing, getting a few steps here and there, doing a few chores and enjoying food, television and the company of my wife.

The only downside was that WalMart truly sucks. I know that people already know this, but we tend to try to grocery shop at the cheapest place. And I have been to them all in the area, and WalMart is by far the cheapest. The issue is that they are constantly out of things we go in for. And I don’t just mean one week. I have been making my low carb food for weeks now and WalMart never has turkey meatballs. Yes, I could buy meat and spices and make my own and all that jazz, but it really doesn’t save any money per ounce. So we went to Target today and got everything we needed. While the meatballs were good, the sauce was not. So now I am debating on if we have to go to WalMart AND Target in order to satisfy my desires. We already go to Costco on top of WalMart, so it probably wouldn’t be too big of a deal.

I was thinking about making this coming week a rest week. My legs and feet have hurt, my shoulder (obviously) has also bothered me. But as Sunday went on, I decided I wanted to keep at it. I MAY end up only doing stuff on the elliptical if my feet continue to bother me, but they have felt a lot better the past couple of days, so here’s hoping everything is coming up roses.
