So as most people who know me know, I enjoy running. The other day I wanted to try running “the right way” which I did once in the past and regretted for a week. Well, I have so far regretted it this time for three days and it doesn’t seem to be letting up soon. “The right way” of running is to run where you foot strikes the ground at mid-foot. I have always been a heel striker which is a terrible way of running, but it is how I always have. Anyway, that one time running correctly has put me in super duper DOMS mode.

Wednesday also had some good news. I received a call from my doctor’s office saying I don’t have pre-diabetes or diabetes and I have a normal A1C, no thyroid issues, cholesterol issues, liver or kidney issues,and my electrolytes are normal. All clear on the blood work.  If I can get my blood pressure under control and continue to lose weight, I should be one healthy dude.

I did some elliptical work today due to the calf soreness, got lots of steps, all my food, lots of water and plenty of coffee. Was a pretty good day overall.
