Someone try to convince me that this is normal. I mean, yeah, it’s been 101° F on this day in the past, but that is the high. And it was the high as well today. I will never get used to living somewhere that has both extremes in the summer and winter. San Diego sounds more and more amazing. Or Seattle. Rain is always good…
Yesterday was probably the most uncomfortable day I have had in a while, and I don’t just mean the heat. My shoulder bothered me all night long, and continued to bother me through the day. For the most part, the three incisions they put in my shoulder didn’t bother me but yesterday all three were hurting and my shoulder was aching even just sitting comfortably. Last night was the first night I actually took one of my pain medications when I went to bed. I am hoping that it was a fluke and doesn’t mean there is an issue or something.
Other than that, my new and updated to correct numbers food was great. It wasn’t as much as I ate before, but it was still plenty of food. And the scale seemed to appreciate it for sure, though it is unofficial.
For exercise I rode the bike at the gym to continue filling in the mileage I need for the Lazy Triathlon and got nearly 15 miles done doing an alternating level 3 to level 6. I also got plenty of walking in and once again missed 14 hours of 250+ steps by just a few steps because I wasn’t paying attention.
