Saturday was another pretty good day given the arm. I was able to sleep in quite a bit which was great, got up and did a slow and steady 5K run, and then relaxed most of the day before heading out on a date with my beautiful wife to see the new Hobbs & Shaw movie (it was meh, what I expected… lots of action, attempts at humor) and then dinner. I won’t lie, I probably overdid it at dinner a bit because I had the all-you-can-eat riblets, tenders and shrimp, but in all honesty I think I did a pretty decent job, especially for a Free Day.
Sleeping is becoming the biggest pain with my arm lately. I can’t sleep lying down because the pressure on my shoulder (either from the top down when on my back, or from my arm directly when sleeping on my side) causes a lot of pain. I have resorted to sleeping in the recliner until I am comfortable enough to actually sleep in bed again.
I am hoping to be able to get to the gym and the office tomorrow. Currently I am sitting at my computer and while it isn’t 100% comfortable, I think I can handle sitting at my desk at work, especially if I adjust my chair. Looking at my work e-mail, it doesn’t look like my desk was installed over the weekend so I will have to make due. If things get too much when I am there, I will simply head home early and finish work from there.
