I know, I know. What are you complaining about, Earl? You had half the week off? Well, it’s still nice to know that the next two days after today are just focusing on relaxing and resting and recovering without worrying about work.

Friday was another pretty simple day. I didn’t do a whole lot of extra but I did try to get some work done. It is difficult when I have to sit on the couch to work, though. Just not the same as when I am at a desk. My boss did submit for me to get another sit-stand desk (I had one years ago) so I may be lucky and get it by Monday, but I won’t hold my breath. It would make things a lot easier if I did. But I’ll get it eventually.

I did go out for a little jog, which I probably wasn’t supposed to do, but sitting at home and walking around the house just weren’t doing it for me. I did a couple of miles at a slow pace, making sure I kept my arm secure, and it felt pretty good if not hot. Hopefully Monday I can get into the gym and start working on the bike as I only have 1 week left of the Lazy Triathlon and I missed all of last week.
