Well, things didn’t go exactly as planned today either. I had thought about doing some HIIT work that didn’t really involve my legs, but the place I went was a bit wet and I am not much for crawling on the grass when it’s wet. So I stuck with walking and jogging. Hopefully next week things will be a bit better when it comes to my strength training, but I have to remember that at the end of the month I’ll be having shoulder surgery and I won’t be lifting for quite a while after that.
It was a great day overall, however. I got in tons of steps, got in my exercise, had some delicious food on my “free day” and my favorite person in the world came home from a trip.
Tomorrow will be some walking and relaxing and nothing special at all. But every day is special in one way or another, right?
