Say whaaaaaat?

So I am not naive enough to think that I actually lost 12.5 pounds this week. I’ve done this enough times (and researched things enough) to know better. However, that doesn’t make me feel any less awesome about it. I’ve been tracking my weight daily while realizing it can easily fluctuate and it dropped quickly and consistently until this morning. It actually went up a couple of pounds. But again, I am not worried as weight fluctuation will always happen.

Today was a pretty good day despite having a little bit of trouble falling asleep last night. I got up earlier than usual and did extra exercise. I am pretty sure that I will soon be having surgery on my shoulder so I know that I won’t be able to lift for a while, but I decided to start lifting again anyway until I no longer can. So I did over an hour of lifting and then a 2 mile run/walk.

When it came to food, I felt great about continuing my intermittent fasting and eating what I ate. I picked up some semi-not-good chicken salad yesterday at Costco and decided to finish it off (by not good I mean it tastes pretty bland). So I finished that off for both meals today.  Nothing special.
