Anniversary

So this weekend was my 1 year anniversary with my lovely wife.  Best year I’ve had, that’s for sure.  We did have a great weekend and celebrated with just the two of us.  And I ended up making a few bucks at the same time.

I won’t go on about how celebrations lead to overindulgence, but I will say that I think I did fairly well considering.  I did indulge at a buffet on Saturday night but other than that I kept everything pretty much in check.  I didn’t try too hard to do this, it just sort of came natural this time.  I guess that’s a good thing.

The only bad thing about having a celebratory weekend was that I didn’t get to exercise as much as I would have normally.  That’s fine I suppose.  It’s not like it’s required.  And despite not exercising as much as normal I still did fairly well with the calorie intake.  I wouldn’t have minded running for an hour or so and making Saturday not so terrible, but I won’t complain.

Friday’s exercise went fairly well and I was able to get through it quite quickly.  The only problem is that my legs were so sore and weak that they were one of the only things that went down in reps.  It isn’t a bad thing, though.  I know that it is bound to happen especially at the end of the week.

I won’t be going into any details about my anniversary celebration.  Just know it was fantastic.
