This is an excellent recipe that I have tried a few times and love. It is a very flexible recipe that you can add almost anything to whether it’s fruit, chocolate, flax seed or even meat (meat?) It is pretty heavy on calories so if you only want a few hundred, you are going to have to alter it (change the amount of oatmeal you use) or just go without. If you want it more “liquidy” or creamier, reduce the amount of oatmeal or increase the amount of yogurt/milk. But since most people probably afford 500-600 calories per meal, so if that is the case, enjoy!
Ingredients:
3/4 cup Great Value Oatmeal (real oatmeal, not the instant stuff)
1/2 cup Blue Diamond unsweetened almond milk
1/2 cup fat free Great Value Vanilla yogurt
1 oz almonds, crushed
1 serving of Guittard dark chocolate chips
Instructions:
Take all of the ingredients and throw them in a microwave-safe container. Mix them up and put them in the fridge. Once morning comes and you’re forced to be awake and need sustenance for your body, toss it in the microwave (usually for 1-2 minutes) and enjoy!
