Well, it’s the time of the year when I get one of my quarterly bonuses… at least we’re supposed to. I walked into work waiting to check my payroll information to see what I got only to be let down when it showed I didn’t get one. Why not, you say? Did I do poorly, did I forget to cross some T’s and dot some I’s, did I do something I shouldn’t have done? No. Someone messed up and a bunch of us “special” people didn’t get our bonus. At least they got it corrected and sorted out, but now I have to wait until next week to get my chunk o’ change.
Great day food and exercise-wise. I ate well and moved a lot, attempted to get out of my chair as much as possible (still need to figure out how to get a standing station) and did pretty good at the gym. I am quite sore from the lifting this week, going back to doing the 3×10 circuit-style lifting sure makes a difference. My legs are pretty sore, too. I am getting up there in weight when it comes to squats in the Stronglifts program. Speaking of Stronglifts, I wonder when I am going to have a stall… I think the first thing will be overhead press and I think it will be VERY soon. Both of the last two sessions doing overhead press I didn’t think I would finish 5 reps on the last set. But I pushed through. I might be able to do 1 more day but I don’t think I’ll get past that.
In other news, I am going camping again this weekend, so I will probably do a double-post tomorrow to make up for it. Camping is always fun, as long as it doesn’t rain -_-

Dessert – Protein shake with Cracklin’ Oat Bran

An hour of walking at work
4 miles on the treadmill including walking and some jogging
