Still very sore today. Hopefully I am over it soon because it is getting old… but tomorrow morning we are (planning on) doing tabata anyway. We just won’t be doing lunges or much of anything with our legs. We just want to get that workout in. Then next week we’ll start our scheduled plan that will hopefully make stuff like this not happen. Going to focus on legs one day, arms another and then core.
Burned a lot of calories today and had to eat some watermelon just to get near my 1500 calorie deficit. Some days are like this and I know I should cut back on walking or however much cardio I do, but I don’t want to. I feel good doing it and I feel good being able to eat more than you would think while still losing weight. Seems counterintuitive but it works perfectly so far.
Breakfast – Oatmeal with dark chocolate chips
Snack – Popcorn, yogurt and pickles
Lunch – Chicken chimichangas with salsa
Dinner – Steak, mashed cauliflower and corn
Dessert – Protein shake with Cracklin’ Oat Bran and some watermelon
