Because of my elbow issue I decided to start doing Tabata today. For those who don’t know (or don’t know how to Google) it is an exercise program developed by a Japanese scientist. In a nutshell, you perform a workout for 20 seconds at maximum effort followed by a 10 second rest, and repeat multiple times. Overall, the workout takes less than 20 minutes but it burns twice as many calories (if not more) than doing the 30 Day Shred. So even when my elbow is better, I may not be going back. Tabata has been scientifically proven to work both aerobic and anaerobic and is quick and painful… just how I like it.
Dinner was not my top choice but it was a situation where traffic did not cooperate and there wasn’t much time to make what we had planned and still get to the pool. So I ate out… shame on me. I was still waaaay under my calories so I feel fine, but kinda gassy. I know you all wanted to know that.
The pool was fun and aqua Zumba was great, but I think it tweaks at my elbow a bit. Hopefully this weekend will prove to get it healed better so I don’t feel like a wiener all next week.
