I am getting so excited that level 2 of the 30 Day Shred is almost over. Everywhere I see that it is the toughest level out of the 3. I did take a sneak peak at level 3 and it doesn’t seem quite as bad. And planking… really!? Planking is like the hardest thing to do for more than a few seconds and I’m supposed to do mountain climbers and thrusts and jacks while in that position? Are you crazy? But I do it anyway, as much as I can at least. I tend to try and do one more than I was able to do the day before, hopefully tomorrow I can do the whole thing but that is a big step. I get so tired with some of the workouts they do.
Also excited to go camping this weekend. It will be nice to not get up early to workout, not have to head to the gym after work and just enjoy nature and time with my wife and family. Nature is something I don’t get out to much anymore so it will be nice to be out there.
Post-workout – High Fiber tortilla with some peanut butter
Breakfast – 2 egg omelet with turkey
Lunch – A bit of spinach lasagna and some stuffed peppers
Dinner – Chicken Pizza Casserole
Dessert/Snack – Peanut butter chocolate protein shake with almonds
